This school year, Western Springs School of Talent Education and the Naperville Suzuki School are under new leadership by Emily Connolly and Patrick Connolly, following the legacy of world-renowned Suzuki Teacher Trainer and Pedagogue, Edward Kreitman. Our knowledgeable and hard-working faculty are excited to continue serving our students and musical community to continue spreading joy, musical knowledge, and our mission of building character!
In the new school year, we are thrilled to take on two new Faculty Members! On our violin faculty, Cecilia Cooper has joined our team to take over Edward Kreitman’s students when he retired, and is building a large and successful studio! She is focusing her teaching at our Naperville Location, and brings a joyous and infectious hard-working positive energy to our faculty, which we love! Secondly, we are welcoming Ray Ostwald to our team as our new conductor for our Reading Orchestra! Maestro Ostwald has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, with conducting orchestras and teaching music for multiple decades around the area, even around the world! He is passionate about teaching students how to be skillful learners and orchestra players, and comes with a kind and supportive demeanor. Please help us to welcome our new faculty to our community!
Our Cellissimo performing ensemble is planning a tour to Denmark in the summer of 2025! They have been invited to be guest performers at The Arhaus Cello Expo, and will be extending their stay in Denmark to tour further around the country, as well as sightsee for some cultural education. Go Cellissimo!
We have some other exciting events coming up for this year as well. Stay tuned for more updates! If you do not subscribe to our newsletter already, please email admin@wsste.com to get updates.
