SARAH TORRENGA

Violin Faculty

Sarah Torrenga has been teaching violin since 1992. She started teaching at Western Springs School of Talent Education in the summer of 1997. Sarah is a 1992 graduate of the Wheaton Conservatory of Music where she majored in violin performance. She also has taken teacher training for Suzuki Books 1-5 from Edward Kreitman and Suzuki Books 6-7 and Practicum Class with Nancy Jackson. Sarah got married in 2006 to Dale Torrenga and they had a daughter Elliana in 2009. She is deeply committed to her church and neighborhood in North Lawndale, Chicago, where she also lives with her family.
